Off the trail...

We did a good 4 hour hike along the ridge down to the river. We had to cross the river several times - sometimes more successfully (and drier) than others.

Then it was time to hike back up the bluff, back along the ridge, then back down to the river. It was about then the boys realized they had to hike back up the bluff one. more. time.

Now it's time for dinner!
